Melting Moments

    Small biscuits sandwiched together with vanilla icing. They look so fancy but they are so easy to make, so try them!

    Serves: 6 

    • 125g butter or margarine
    • 2 tablespoons (30g) icing sugar
    • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla essence, or to taste
    • 1/2 cup self raising flour
    • 1/2 cup cornflour
    • for the icing
    • 1 tablespoon of butter
    • 1 tablespoon condensed milk
    • 3 tablespoons icing sugar
    • vanilla essence to taste

    1. Preheat oven to 160 degrees C and grease a bicuit tray.
    2. In a medium bowl, cream butter, sugar and vanilla. Combine flour and cornflour, sift then add to creamed mixture and mix well.
    3. Roll into small round balls and place on tray. Bake for 10-15 minutes. Remove from oven and allow to cool completely.
    4. To make the icing; combine all the icing ingredients and use to join two biscuits together.
