Small biscuits sandwiched together with vanilla icing. They look so fancy but they are so easy to make, so try them!
125g butter or margarine
2 tablespoons (30g) icing sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla essence, or to taste
1/2 cup self raising flour
1/2 cup cornflour
for the icing
1 tablespoon of butter
1 tablespoon condensed milk
3 tablespoons icing sugar
vanilla essence to taste
- Preheat oven to 160 degrees C and grease a bicuit tray.
- In a medium bowl, cream butter, sugar and vanilla. Combine flour and cornflour, sift then add to creamed mixture and mix well.
- Roll into small round balls and place on tray. Bake for 10-15 minutes. Remove from oven and allow to cool completely.
- To make the icing; combine all the icing ingredients and use to join two biscuits together.
