Great for parties and always a great success. This recipe has been handed from friend to friend and always tastes different when someone new makes it.


Serves: 12 

  • 1 large round cob loaf
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 handful baby spinach, sliced
  • 1 cup (250ml) mayonnaise
  • 125g cheddar cheese, grated
  • 250g cream cheese
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 teaspoon mixed herbs

Preparation:10min  ›  Cook:30min  ›  Ready in:40min 

  1. Slice a small lid off top of the cob loaf and scoop out the inside.
  2. Mix all the remaining ingredients together and put in the cob.
  3. Bake in the oven at 150 degrees C for about 30 minutes or until all the cheese has melted and flavours have combined.
