This is a super easy chicken bake that is ideal for leftovers from a roast dinner, or you can get a hot chicken and gravy pack from the shops. Either way it always turns out great.


Serves: 4 

  • 2 cups (500ml) diced cooked chicken
  • 1 cup (250ml) chicken gravy
  • 2 tablespoons green chilli, finely diced, to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 cups cooked macaroni, spaghetti or noodles
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese

  1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees C.
  2. Mix the chicken, gravy, chilli, salt and pepper in a large bowl. Pour into a casserole dish.
  3. Arrange the macaroni on top of the chicken mixture. Dot with little pieces of the butter then sprinkle with cheese.
  4. Cover and bake for 20 minutes. Uncover and bake for 10 minutes more.
