This is a tasty and easy pizza recipe with no tomato base. You can use either frozen pizza bases or fresh - depending on the time available. This recipe doesn't create the "ham" taste that many seafood pizzas seem to, but retains its salmon flavour.

Serves: 4 

  • 1 frozen pizza base / fresh if preferred
  • 125g of mozarella cheese
  • 2-3 shallots, finely chopped
  • ground pepper
  • 100g smoked salmon
  • extra virgin olive oil (to drizzle)
  • parsley and lemon juice to serve (optional)

Preparation:10min  ›  Cook:20min  ›  Ready in:30min 

  1. Preheat oven to 220 degrees C.
  2. Lay the smoked salmon slices on the pizza base, then top with the mozzarella slices. Sprinkle with shallots. Season to taste with pepper and drizzle lightly over the top with olive oil.
  3. Bake in preheated oven for approx 20 minutes, until cheese is golden brown and edges are golden & crisp.
  4. Remove pizza with a large spatula and slice. Sprinkle with lemon juice and parsley (optional) and then drizzle with a little more olive oil to serve.
