Macaroni Cheese, the Best
Our family's recipe for macaroni and cheese. Mustard and tinned tomatoes make it a little different.

60g plain flour
1/2 teaspoon mustard
salt and pepper to taste
60 - 90g any cheese - grated or crumbled
1 tin tomatoes (optional)
- Cook macaroni pasta then put aside.
- Add everything except the cheese, tomatoes and pasta in a saucepan. Simmer for 10 - 12 minutes whisking occasionally. Stir till thickened.
- Stir in the cheese, tomatoes (if required) and simmer till heated through and cheese is melted, then add the pasta to warm sauce. Season to taste and cook till heated through.
- If too thick, thin down with a little more milk. For a thinner sauce add less milk.

Very easy to make. Both my boys enjoyed it. Could easily add seasoning to adapt as required.
