    This simple and tasty savoury frappé is a cool and refreshing way to get your five vegetables a day. If desired, you can also serve this as a cold summer soup.

    Serves: 5 

    • 2 avocados - peeled and stone removed
    • 1 tablespoon orange zest
    • 1 teaspoon finely diced fresh ginger, or giger powder
    • 1 teaspoon salt
    • 1 pinch ground black pepper
    • 3 cups (710ml) milk

    1. Place avocados, orange zest, ginger, salt and pepper in a processor. Blend adding milk a little at a time until mixture is smooth.
    2. Pour into a carafe or jug, cover and refrigerate. Serve chilled in frosted glasses. Garnish with avocado slices if desired.
