Tomato smoothie

    This smoothie is a good bone-builder, thanks to the calcium from the yogurt.

    Serves: 2 

    • 1 cup low-fat plain yogurt
    • 2 large ripe roma tomatoes, peeled, seeded and chopped
    • ½ teaspoon dried basil
    • ½ teaspoon salt

    1. In a blender, whirl yogurt, tomatoes, basil and salt until very smooth, 2 minutes. Serve over ice, if desired.
