    Add tasty cheesy Italian parmesan flavour to asparagus! This goes well as a fresh side to almost any dish, or as a light flavourful snack!

    Serves: 5 

    • 1 tablespoon butter
    • 1/4 cup (60ml) extra-virgin olive oil
    • 500g fresh asparagus spears, trimmed
    • 60g freshly grated Parmesan
    • Sea salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

    1. Melt butter with olive oil in a large frying pan over medium heat. Add asparagus spears and cook, stirring occasionally for about 5 to 8 minutes, or to desired firmness.
    2. Drain off excess oil, and sprinkle with Parmesan, salt and pepper.
