Rockmelon (also called cantaloupe or spanspek), grapes and blueberries are three magic fruits that look and taste great together. Here a tart lime seasoning and green tea syrup give a distinctive and refreshing finish for dessert or even for a weekend breakfast or brunch.

2 green tea bags
2/3 cup boiling water
2 tablespoons caster sugar
1 teaspoon grated lime zest
2 tablespoons lime juice
250 g bunch green seedless grapes
1 punnet (125 g) blueberries, rinsed and dried
1/2 rockmelon (cantaloupe or spanspek), cut into 8 wedges
finely shredded lime zest, to garnish

Place tea bags in the boiling water and let steep for 3 to 4 minutes. Remove tea bags. Add sugar to tea and stir until dissolved. Stir in lime zest and lime juice. Let cool to room temperature.
Combine grapes and blueberries and pour over half the syrup. Serve this mixture over rockmelon wedges and then drizzle over remaining syrup. Garnish with lime zest.
