Cut the wing tips from the chicken wings and discard. Place the chicken wings in an airtight container. Mix the soy sauce, lemon juice, tomato sauce and ginger in a bowl and pour it over the chicken wings. Toss the chicken wings so they are all well coated with the marinade. Cover the container and marinate the chicken in the refrigerator overnight.
The next day, preheat the oven to 180°C. Lightly grease a shallow baking tray with oil and line with a sheet of baking paper. Drain the chicken wings, reserving 1/4 cup of the marinade. Combine the reserved marinade with the honey in a small saucepan. Heat for 1–2 minutes, or until the mixture is combined.
Place the chicken wings on the baking tray. Brush the warm honey mixture over both sides of the chicken and bake in the preheated oven for 30–40 minutes, or until the chicken wings are cooked through. Serve warm or cold.

1 tablespoon oil
2 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons honey
12 chicken wings
Put wings in a large saucepan over medium heat.
Cover with water, add a dash of oil and some salt and poach for 5 minutes.
Remove wings from heat and let cool.
Combine oil, soy sauce and honey in a small bowl.
Put all the wings on foil on a baking tray grill on medium heat and brush lightly with oil.
After they have browned a little turn and brush again.
After the other side has browned take the wings out of the grill and let cool for a few minutes.
