Vinegars infused with spices, fruit, herbs or horseradish are easy to prepare at home and make delightful gifts. In this recipe, red wine vinegar is infused with fresh raspberries.
2 punnets fresh raspberries or blackberries, or 500 g frozen
2½ cups red wine vinegar

- Combine the berries and vinegar in a bowl or plastic container. Cover the container and leave the mixture to stand for five to seven days.
- Strain the vinegar into clean, dry bottles. Add a few whole berries, if desired, and seal well.
