Cheesy Salmon Pasta

Smoked salmon is a strong flavour and needs little else to make a great pasta sauce. The plates always come back clean!


Serves: 2 

  • 160g penne pasta
  • 1 medium size carrot, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • 20g grated cheddar
  • 1 dessert spoon ground paprika
  • 50g smoked salmon

Preparation:10min  ›  Cook:20min  ›  Ready in:30min 

  1. Cook pasta in boiling water and steam the carrots until soft.
  2. Drain pasta and place back in pot along with the milk and cheese and place on a very low heat, just so pasta can absorb some of the milk and allow cheese to melt, 2 minutes.
  3. Add the carrots, paprika and smoked salmon and stir until the salmon has gone dark pink. Add more milk if necessary.
