You may prefer to finely grate the lime rind into the blender and cut off any remaining pith before blending the whole limes. It is best served immediately.

DON'T PEEL THE LIMES. The peel contains all of the essential oils of the lime. It gives it that extra kick. Yes, it's a pain to strain it, but trust me, you'll be glad you did.
