    You may prefer to finely grate the lime rind into the blender and cut off any remaining pith before blending the whole limes. It is best served immediately.

    Serves: 4 

    • 2 limes
    • 1/2 cup (100g) caster sugar
    • 3 tablespoons sweetened condensed milk
    • 3 cups (750ml) water
    • 1 cup ice cubes

    1. Wash limes thoroughly. Cut off the ends and cut into eight wedges.
    2. Place limes into a blender with the sugar, condensed milk, water and ice.
    3. Blend until lime and ice are chopped finely. Strain through a fine sieve to remove rind if desired.
    4. Serve over extra ice.
