This is an incredible rich Italian dessert which is also popular in Argentina and Uruguay. Very easy to make!

MARIANAO

Ingredients

  • 6 egg yolks
  • 50g white sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon powdered cinnamon
  • 200ml Marsala wine
  • 2 tablespoons rum

Directions
Preparation:5min  ›  Cook:10min  ›  Ready in:15min 

  1. Beat the egg yolks with the sugar until the eggs are light and frothy. Separately mix the rum and Marsala wine with the cinnamon.
  2. In a small saucepan over a medium flame blend the two mixes with a whisk. Beat constantly until a light fluffy mousse is formed.
  3. Serve hot in cocktail glasses.
