    This is a very easy spicy chicken recipe for a mid week dinner. Serve with a salad and maybe some potatoes.

    Serves: 2 

    • 2 teaspoons olive oil
    • 2 chicken breast fillets, sliced into strips
    • 2 pinches paprika
    • 2 teaspoons honey
    • salt and pepper, to taste
    • 2 teaspoons dried rosemary or fresh sprigs

    1. In a large frying pan, heat oil over medium heat until hot. Place chicken strips in the pan. Drizzle one teaspoon of honey over the chicken. Sprinkle over one pinch paprika, a little bit of salt and pepper and a teaspoon of rosemary. Cook the chicken for 5 minutes, then flip over.
    2. Drizzle over remaining honey, and season the other side of the chicken with paprika, salt, pepper and rosemary. Serve when chicken is golden brown on both sides and the centre is cooked through.

    This was okay. I think next time I would get the sear, cover it with foil and put it in the oven. The flavors were good. - 30 May 2013
