    10 minutes

Lassi is a good thick drink that can serve equally well as a drink or a dessert. Perfectly refreshing on a hot summer day.

While I like this recipe cos its good to break up the yoghurt a bit with the milk Lassi still should be a little tart and the strawbs are sweet enough as is. So I used less than half the sugar and that was good.  -  20 Apr 2010

It really needs cardamom to be authentic, in my opinion. I add a pinch of ground and it's much more to my taste.  -  01 Feb 2008  (Review from Allrecipes USA and Canada)

I blended everything together, including the ice cubes, which I added last. I used half as much sugar (good call I think) and Greek strawberry yogurt. I also added fresh raspberries and a few drops of red food coloring to make it particularly pretty and pink. Not that other, similar, smoothies are bad, but what I especially liked about this one was its simple berry flavor - no orange or cranberry juice, banana, or other flavor additions. Hubs slurped this down in a New York Minute!  -  31 May 2010  (Review from Allrecipes USA and Canada)
