    This is the secret to making perfect hard boiled eggs for eating, dyeing, or making deviled eggs. With this technique peeling them is a breeze.

    1. Place eggs in large pot and fill with enough water to submerge eggs. Bring water to a full boil and turn off heat. Let the eggs sit in the water for exactly 18 min. Remove eggs from water, place in a colander and run cool (not too cold) water over them.
