Relaxing Gin Martini

    5 minutes

This is a very relaxing and easy Gin martini to make. I like to keep the Gin in the freezer to keep it super cold, this also helps to stop the ice melting and diluting the drink.

    Serves: 1

    • ice cubes
    • 2 shots (90ml) dry gin
    • 1 dash (10ml) dry vermouth
    • 1 drop anise flavoured liqueur
    • 1 pitted green olive

    Preparation:5min  ›  Ready in:5min

    1. Fill a martini pitcher with ice. Pour in the gin, vermouth and anise liqueur.
    2. Stir or shake until extremely cold.
    3. Strain into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with an olive.

too much vermuth. looking at my spelling I'd say I've probably tried making this too often  -  18 Dec 2009  (Review from Allrecipes USA and Canada)

I took time reviewing this recipe. I am a Martini Lover and had alot of different types over the years. At first I wanted to rate this with 1-2 stars... But the more I sat and thought about this there is really only 1 thing I would change, So with the change it is 5 star worthy.. All I did was use a dash of vermouth to a dash to coat the glass. That was it now go enjoy!  -  01 Jan 2012  (Review from Allrecipes USA and Canada)
