Cranberry Cointreau Martini

    5 minutes

I had this drink at a party. Of course its not really a martini in the classic sense - it's like a vodka martini plus! It's a perfect smooth drink.

    72 people made this

    Serves: 2

    • 2 nips (60ml) vodka
    • 1 nip (30ml) cointreau
    • 1 nip (30ml) dry vermouth
    • 2 nips (60ml) cranberry juice
    • 1 cup ice

    Preparation:5min  ›  Ready in:5min

    1. Combine vodka, cointreau, vermouth, cranberry juice and ice in a cocktail shaker. Shake vigorously to mix and chill. Pour into martini glasses, and serve. Garnish with blood orange or lemon slices.

SO easy to make, it's silly!  -  16 Aug 2016

I have served these at two parties now to rave reviews. So refreshing! The only danger is it is easy to have too many! I would suggest playing with the amounts a few times before serving to guests. My first few were way to strong and the flavor was bitter, we ended up cutting the liquor almost in half and it was much better. We also made these in small pitchers so everyone could self-serve and it worked well.  -  05 Feb 2008  (Review from Allrecipes USA and Canada)

I am a diehard cosmopolitan drinker, and thought this one sounded good so I gave it a try. I used cran/raspberry juice and added a bit more juice than called for (2.5oz) and loved it! Cheers and thanks for the recipe.  -  12 Feb 2008  (Review from Allrecipes USA and Canada)
