Seasonal Fruit Sangria

This one is great to multiply for large groups of people. Just serve in a large punchbowl and let 'em serve themselves!



  • 4 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 cup (250ml) water
  • 1 bottle (750ml) red wine
  • 1 orange, thinly sliced
  • 1 lime, thinly sliced
  • seasonal fruit (strawberries, bannana, etc)
  • 1/2 cup (125ml) club soda

  1. In a large jug, dissolve the sugar in the water until clear. Add wine, fruit and ice. Stir until cold. Add sparking water just before serving. Serve in 8 large wineglasses and make sure each gets some fruit.
