This is so incredibly easy to make - and pretty foolproof as it is turns out moist and delicious EVERY time. I always use butter instead of margarine and I sometimes throw in a handful of chopped walnuts too. - 28 Apr 2011
Used different ingredients.
Added cinnamon and nutmeg as per other tweak. I also used butter instead of margarine and vanilla extract instead of essence. I have a fan forced and cooked at 160 for 35 mins. I think next time will be 30 mins as it was a bit burnt on top. I'm eating it now and its fabulous! Lovely and sweet and datey. - 14 Nov 2010
