Reverse Chocolate Chip Cookies

    These are chocolate cookies with white chocolate chips for a colour reversal! Great with a glass of milk.

    Serves: 30 

    • 225g butter, softened
    • 2 cups (440g) white sugar
    • 2 eggs
    • 2 teaspoons vanilla essence
    • 2 cups (250g) plain flour
    • 3/4 cup (90g) cocoa
    • 1 teaspoon baking soda
    • 1/2 teaspoon salt
    • 1 2/3 cups (200g) white chocolate chips

    1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees C.
    2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until smooth. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, then stir in the vanilla. Sift together the flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt and stir into the creamed mixture. Fold in the white chocolate chips.
    3. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls on to ungreased baking trays and bake for 8 to 10 minutes, or until cookies are set. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely.

    Altered ingredient amounts. I have made this recipe so many times now, i now double the recipe, and add 250gm of white and 250gm of milk choc chips, aswell as 250gm of macadamia nuts... i get constant requests for them  -  09 Aug 2010


    omg these are amazing! I dont usually review recipes I find online, but I just HAD to for these. I added milk and white choc chips to mine and they are perfect! I can see they wont last long. Kids are already asking for another.  -  29 Sep 2012
