This was a dessert/beverage experiment my boyfriend and I came up with. It's so good! Dessert, coffee and liqueur all in one.
enough brewed/espresso coffee for 6
500g French vanilla ice cream
1 1/2 cups (375ml) Irish cream liqueur
cream and sugar to taste
- Make the coffee and while brewing, fill 6 cups with a scoop of ice cream each. Be sure to use large cups. Top each scoop with just enough Irish cream to lightly coat the ice cream.
- When the coffee is brewed, pour enough to fill each cup halfway. It is then up to each individual to add Irish cream, cream or sugar to taste.
