    These hollow rolls are similar to Yorkshire pudding. You can fill them with tuna or salmon salad or eat them plain!

    Serves: 4 

    • 2 cups matzo meal
    • 1 1/2 cups (375ml) boiling water
    • 1/2 cup (125ml) vegetable oil
    • 1 teaspoon white sugar
    • 1 teaspoon salt
    • 4 eggs, beaten

    1. Preheat oven to 190 degrees C. Grease a baking tray.
    2. In a large mixing bowl, combine matzo meal, water, oil, sugar and salt. Mix well then let mixture cool.
    3. Add eggs to the mixture. Drop rolls by rounded tablespoons onto the prepared tray.
    4. Bake for one hour, checking to make sure they are golden brown and not burned.
