My friend who knows says these are getting all groovy again:-) I remember my parents making a big deal of them when I was a kid. Some places serve this with orange juice instead of lemon.


Serves: 1 

  • 2 nips/shots (60ml) brandy
  • 1/2 nip (15ml) Cointreau
  • 1/2 nip (15ml) lemon juice
  • 1 dash of Angostura bitters

Preparation:5min  ›  Ready in:5min 

  1. Pour all the ingredients into a cocktail shaker with lots of ice and shake till mixed.
  2. Rub the rim of a champagne glass with lemon, dip into some sugar, then strain the drink into the glass.
