Quick Oat Biscuits

    Very quick and simple oat biscuits for serving with morning or afternoon tea. You can double the recipe if you like.

    Serves: 12 

    • 75g self raising flour
    • 75g porridge oats
    • 75g sugar
    • 75g butter
    • 1 tablespoon golden syrup
    • 1 tablespoon milk

    Preparation:10min  ›  Cook:10min  ›  Ready in:20min 

    1. Preheat oven to 180 deg C. Line a baking tray with baking paper.
    2. Sift the flour into a bowl. Mix in oats and sugar.
    3. Melt butter, syrup and milk in a saucepan and stir until heated through. Add to the premixed dry ingredients. Mix until well combined. Spoon onto a baking tray and shape into rounds.
    4. Bake in preheated oven for 10 to 15 minutes, or until golden brown. Leave to cool for 5 minutes before removing from tray.
