Easy Chocolate Brownies

    I've tried so many different recipes for brownies and I've finally made the best one's, I usually double the quantity as they go very quickly.

    Serves: 8 

    • 175g dark chocolate 70% cocoa solids
    • 175g unsalted butter
    • 3 eggs
    • 200g dark soft brown sugar
    • 1 teaspoon vanilla
    • 1 pinch salt
    • 65g plain flour

    1. Heat your oven to 160 degrees C. Grease and line your tin with baking paper.
    2. Melt your chocolate over a pan of simmering water and leave to cool until needed.
    3. Add your eggs, sugar and vanilla to a bowl. Using your mixer or handheld mixer mix for a few minutes, it should be mousse-like.
    4. Whisk in your cooled melted chocolate. Sift in your salt and flour and gently fold in.
    5. Transfer your brownie mixture to the baking tin.
    6. Bake until a wooden cocktail stick inserted into the mixture comes out clean, about 30 to 35 minutes.
