Easy Ginger Cake

    I made up this very easy, light and spongy cake recipe. It is simple and delicious.

    Serves: 5 

    • 3 eggs
    • 180g self raising flour
    • two large spoons of ginger powder
    • 5 tablespoons caster sugar or brown sugar
    • 170g butter or margarine
    • small pinch of salt

    Preparation:10min  ›  Cook:45min  ›  Ready in:55min 

    1. Mix everything together and once margarine or butter is soft, place in the greased square, pyrex dish or tin. Place in the middle of heated oven, 150 degrees C. Bake about 45 minutes or until spongy to the touch. Leave to cool and gently turn out.
