Dairy-free Strawberry Yoghurt

    A delicious dairy-free alternative to creamy yoghurt. Healthy, satisfying and oh so delicious. It contains cashews and nut milk.

    Serves: 4 

    • 220g cashews
    • 1/2 cup cashew or almond milk
    • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract or vanilla bean paste
    • 1/2 lemon, squeezed
    • 1 1/2 tablespoons maple syrup or sweetener of your choice
    • 8 strawberries
    • sliced strawberries to garnish (optional)

    Preparation:15min  ›  Extra time:30min soaking  ›  Ready in:45min 

    1. Soak the cashews in water for 30 minutes.
    2. Drain cashews and add to a blender along with the cashew milk, vanilla, lemon juice and maple syrup. Blend until smooth.
    3. Add the strawberries and continue blending until totally smooth and creamy.
    4. Pour into 2 to 3 dessert bowls and top with some sliced strawberries.


    Decorate with dessicated coconut, raisins, dairy free chocolate chips etc.
