Banana Nutella(R) Puffs

    Puff pastry filled with banana and Nutella(R) is topped with a cream cheese frosting in these delicious easy dessert bites which are perfect for entertaining.

    Makes: 48 puffs

    • cooking spray
    • 3 sheets frozen puff pastry, thawed
    • 1 cup (250 g) chocolate-hazelnut spread (such as Nutella(R)), divided
    • 3 bananas, sliced
    • Frosting
    • 125g cream cheese, softened
    • 300ml thickened cream
    • 1/4 cup (55g) caster sugar
    • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

    1. Preheat oven to 190 degrees C. Grease two 24-hole mini-muffin tins with cooking spray.
    2. Cut each puff pastry sheet into quarters. Cut each quarter into 4 square pieces.
    3. Spread 1 teaspoon chocolate-hazelnut spread over each pastry square. Fill each mini-muffin cup with 1 puff pastry square. Place 3 banana slices on top.
    4. Bake in the preheated oven until golden brown, 15 to 18 minutes. Transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
    5. Make frosting

    6. Beat cream cheese in a bowl with an electric mixer until smooth, about 2 minutes. Add cream, sugar and vanilla extract; beat until frosting is thick and creamy.
    7. Pipe or spoon cream cheese frosting onto puffs. Serve.
