Japanese Dry Curry

    Tasty and healthy curry from Japan. Chopped vegetables are good for kids who don't like vegetables.You can change vegetables and mince whatever you like. Capsicum and eggplant go well with this curry.

    • 300g beef mince
    • 1 onion, roughly chopped
    • 1 carrot, roughly chopped
    • 100g celery, roughly chopped
    • 1 tsp grated ginger
    • 1 tsp grated garlic
    • 400g diced tomato
    • 1/2 tbsp salt
    • 1/2 tbsp soy sauce
    • 1 tsp sugar


    1. Heat the oil in a frying pan.Over medium heat cook onion, carrot and celery
    2. Add beef mince and cook until beef is browned.
    3. Add curry powder and stir until mixed through.
    4. Add diced tomato, salt, soy sauce, sugar, garlic, ginger and stir until all the juice evaporates. Serve with rice and boiled egg if you like.
