Mixed Berries with Nut and Seed Crumble

    This recipe can be served for breakfast or as a healthy dessert. It has the goodness of linseeds, sunflower seeds and chia seeds making it high in antioxidants. Make extra and store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to one week.

    Serves: 4 

    • 1/4 cup roasted hazelnuts
    • 2 tablespoons LSA mix (see note)
    • 2 tablespoons pepitas
    • 1 tablespoon sunflower seeds
    • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
    • 1/3 cup chopped dried apricots
    • 125g blueberries
    • 125g raspberries
    • 250g strawberries, hulled, quartered
    • 1 1/2 cups vanilla flavoured yoghurt

    1. Place the LSA, hazelnuts, pepitas, sunflower seeds, chia seeds and apricots in a small food processor. Process until chopped finely.
    2. Place the berries in serving bowls. Sprinkle with half the chia mixture. Dollop with yoghurt and sprinkle with remaining chia mixture. Serve.


    LSA mix is a mixture of ground linseeds, sunflower seeds and almonds. Find it in supermarkets and health food stores. It can be replaced with just ground linseed.
