Creamy Banana Ice Cream

    A delicious recipe I made by myself. You will need a day to stay at home to make this ice cream - no machine needed except a freezer.

    Serves: 4 

    • 4 ripe bananas, mashed
    • 1 carton (300ml) double cream
    • 3 teaspoons drinking chocolate powder
    • 1/2 cup whipped cream, for serving (optional)
    • fresh mint leaves, to garnish (optional)

    Preparation:20min  ›  Extra time:6hours freezing  ›  Ready in:6hours20min 

    1. Mix the mashed banana with double cream in a plastic bowl and place it in the freezer for one hour.
    2. Then take it out again and add drinking chocolate. Mix well then put it back in the freezer for an hour.
    3. Continue to mix the ice cream every half an hour for the next 4 hours until frozen. To serve, spoon into bowls and put a dollop of whipped cream on the side. Serve sprinkled with extra drinking chocolate, if desired.
