Creamy Citrus Ice Cream

    Really tasty and tangy lime and orange ice cream! No need for an ice cream maker or fancy gadgets making this recipe super easy!

    Serves: 6 

    • 1 orange
    • 2 limes
    • 1 cup icing sugar
    • 600ml double cream

    1. Grate the rind from the orange and one lime. Juice the orange and both limes and strain the juice into a bowl.
    2. Mix in rind and sugar until dissolved. Add cream and whip until firm.
    3. Place in airtight container and freeze for 4-6 hours or until firm. Serve in scoops.


    Recipe can be made with just oranges if desired.

    Freezing tip

    Remove ice-cream to soften for 15-20 minutes before eating.
