    1 person made this

    • Thin sliced beef as you would have for a schnitzel. 2 for 1 person & so on. yet this be for 4 people so we use 8 .
    • Mince beef 500 grams 1/2 kg.
    • Cheese because we using beef we use sheep or Goat cheese that melts .2 cups shredded.
    • 2 bay leaves
    • table spoon Oregano
    • 3 crushed garlic cloves
    • a good pinch of salt & a pinch of black or white pepper .
    • 1 cup bread crumbs
    • 1 large onion
    • 1 can of chopped tomato
    • 1 can of water used to clean the remainder of the chopped tomato
    • 2 table spoon of tomato paste
    • 1 cup of rice .
    • 2 tablespoon chopped parsley fresh is better .
    • 1 tablespoon sugar
    • coriander as garnish
    • 2 &1=2 tablespoons of olive oil for browning & 1 table spoon for sauce.
    • water for rice .
    • 7 eggs

    1. Step 1 STUFFING = 1 cup of rice into a saucepan using 1-inch water covering the rice then let boil once the rice has boiled then just simmer when rice is all plump on can not see any water take it off the stove. Now while the rice is cooking, take 200grams of the ground beef from the 500grams of beef which leave you with 300 grams for the sauce. With the large onion chop finely separating half for the sauce, Brown the minced beef then add the onion, when you see the onion go transparent stop the cooking add the bread crumbs, parsley, rice & set a side in a separate bowl for part of the sauce to be mixed in with out the eggs. Step 2 The thinly sliced beef 8 in all, you will need to smash them make them thin, use what you have may it be a meat hammer or 2 sheets of wrap with the meat in between and then smash with a heavy frying pan. Then once smashed thinly add to the frying pan used by the browning of the stuffing being used to soak up the flavor of the onions and oil, now do not over cook the thin slices of beef you want them just to get a color that's it both sides, set a side the slice of beef to get ready to be rolled with stuffing.
    2. Step 3 sauce. Browning all the rest of the Mince with the onions now as it has cooked add all the remaining herbs, Bay leaves, oregano in the same frying pan used for the sliced beef. Now this where you need a big saucepan for the Tomato paste, chopped tomato, can of water, salt, pepper, sugar,& now bring to boil once boiled add all the fried ingredients to the sauce pan with the wet ingredients then simmer for 1 to 2 minutes & add the garlic at this stage then set a side to cool down.
    3. Step4 and now take one ladle spoons of the sauce add this to the stuffing, now mix the stuffing all together with the ladle spoon of sauce and once it's mixed all up get the stuffing and add what you think is ok to the slice of beef you have now let cooled down and now make a parcel or just roll the beef up with the stuffing.
    4. Step 5 The sauce we had made now when it's cooled down add all 7 eggs then mix to all the remaining sauce then pour 1/2 into a baking dish then add all the roll or parcel add it to an oven tray dish then cover with the remaining sauce.Last but not least we are up to the cheese to add all on top as because we had cooked everything in advanced all you have to do is now basically let the cheese on top melt up on medium heat then to get cheese crispy top on high or grill . Then if you like serve with a bit of chpooed corinader on top if you like as a garnish

Hope you enjoyed that yet when I cook this dish I do it all by eye so basically try and taste as you go when things are cooked. like I mentioned in step 4 put one ladle, do it to your taste.
