Raspberry BBQ Sauce


    I discovered that fruit can actually go really well with a BBQ background. Experimenting with different ingredients, I found a great sauce to go with chicken, steak, pork, you name it - Raspberry BBQ Sauce. With a fruity-tang behind a BBQ taste, comes a great wonder in your mouth that explodes with different flavours.

    • 2 handfuls of raspberries
    • 1 cup tomato sauce
    • 1 cup barbecue sauce
    • 1/8 cup apple cider vinegar
    • 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
    • salt and pepper (to taste)
    • 1/2 cup water


    1. Strain rasperries through a fine sieve into a bowl, whisking firmly to extract the juice. Add 1/2 cup of water to strained mixture.
    2. Combine all ingredients together, stirring them until fully mixed.
    3. Place all ingredients together into a medium saucepan, setting to medium heat until coming to a light boil.
    4. Place sauce into a jar, letting it cool down before putting it into fridge.


    The best thing about this recipe is that it's quick, requires little amount of ingredients, and the ingredients are easy to find!
