Green Tea White Chocolate Chip Cookies

    These Green Tea White Chocolate Chip Cookies are delicately sweet, soft, with a hint of high quality Japanese matcha green tea which compliments sweet white chocolate chips perfectly.

    • 3.5 ounces unsalted butter - room temperature
    • 1/3 cup brown sugar - unpacked
    • 1 egg
    • 1 tsp vanilla extract
    • 1 1/3 cup all purpose flour - sifted
    • 1/2 tsp Kosher salt
    • 1/2 tsp baking powder
    • 2/3 cup white chocolate


    1. In a medium mixing bowl, cream butter, brown sugar and vanilla.
    2. Add egg until combined.
    3. Sift and fold in dry ingredients.
    4. Fold in white chocolate.
    5. Wrap cookie dough in cling wrap in a log and let chill in refrigerator for about half an hour.
    6. Cut log into 12 pieces and place onto a parchment lined baking sheet.
    7. Bake in a pre-heated oven at 325 and bake for about 10 - 12 minutes


    Be sure your butter and egg are at room temperature. This ensures your ingredients will combine properly.
