Dark Chocolate and Orange Cake
This is a delicious quick bread method for an aromatic dark chocolate and orange cake. It's simple to make and the base recipe can be revised for different variations and flavors.

Ingredients
- 1 3/4 Cup All Purpose Flour
- 3/4 Cup Sugar
- 1/4 Cup Butter - melted
- 2 Eggs
- 3/4 Cup Milk
- 1 tsp Vanilla
- 1/4 Cup Cocoa Powder
- Zest of One Orange
- 1/2 TSP Sea Salt
- 2 TBSP Baking Powder
- Dark Chocolate Chips
Directions
- Combine Eggs, butter, sugar, milk, vanilla orange zest and salt in a large mixing bowl.
- Sift and fold in cocoa, flour and baking powder until combined.
- Add Desired amount of Chocolate chips or chocolate chunks.
- Pour cake batter into a parchment lined loaf pan.
- Bake at 180C/350F for about 30 minutes.
- Let cool completely before removing from pan.
