Grandpa Harry's Holiday Punch

    My grandfather used to make a huge bowl of this punch every Christmas. The recipe has been in the family for generations and it is delicious!

    Serves: 15 

    • 1 cup sugar
    • 1 bottle Burgundy wine
    • 2 bottles champagne, chilled
    • 230ml brandy
    • 1 litre club soda

    Preparation:5min  ›  Ready in:5min 

    1. In a punch bowl, dissolve the sugar in the Burgundy wine. Stir in the champagne, brandy, and club soda just before serving.

    I made this for a holiday party. It was a big hit. I made an ice ring before hand in my bundt pan, and added orange slices (cut really thin with peel on) and berries.
