    This omelette is so easy and delicious. It bakes in the oven, so there is no watching the stove. My son loves to make it for us.

    Serves: 6 

    • 6 eggs
    • 240ml milk
    • 60g plain flour
    • 1/2 teaspoon salt
    • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
    • 110g Cheddar cheese, grated

    1. Preheat oven to 230 degrees C. Lightly grease a 23x33cm baking dish or a Swiss roll tin.
    2. In a blender, combine eggs, milk, flour, salt and pepper, then cover and process until smooth. Pour into prepared baking dish.
    3. Bake in preheated oven until set, about 20 minutes. Sprinkle with cheese.
    4. Carefully loosen edges of egg from dish. Starting from the short edge of the pan, carefully roll up cooked egg. Place rolled egg seam side down on a serving plate and cut into 6 equal sized pieces.


    You can add other favourite fillings in addition to the cheese. Some ideas include chopped cooked bacon, spring onions, roasted red capsicum and/or sliced black olives.
