Overnight Oats (Apple Pie Flavour)

    I make a lot of food in advance, and these oats are my favourite of all time. I make it in a mason jar but you can use anything with a lid. Keeps me full for. hours

    Serves: 1 

    • 1 cup rolled oats
    • 1/2 cup non dairy milk (Soy or coconut works best)
    • 1/4 cup uncooked quinoa
    • 1 grated red apple
    • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
    • 1-2 teaspoons white chia seeds
    • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
    • 1 teaspoon ginger powder

    1. Add oats and 'milk' then mix in container.
    2. Add in quinoa, apple, maple syrup and chia seeds.
    3. Add in spices, add more or less as desired.
    4. Leave overnight, minimum 2 hours.


    Initially it might look runny, but over time it will thicken. Top with roasted almonds for an extra crunch. Additional ingredients: Vanilla protein powder, coconut chips, cranberies or sultanas.
