A hearty winter soup in the slow cooker...filling and yummy. Easy to make with a lot of smokey flavour.

  • 1 celery stick, thinly sliced
  • 1 parsnip, diced

Preparation:30min  ›  Cook:4hours  ›  Ready in:4hours30min

  1. Place all the veggies on the bottom of the slow cooker. Place smoked bones on top of vegetables then sprinkle soup mix on top. Add the stock.
  2. Cook on low for 4 hours. Remove bones an hour before serving and shred the meat from the bones then put meat back into the soup. Taste before adding salt. I found it didn't need any extra from the stock.
