These were a great project with the kids, we used them for Halloween but you could use them for any scary themed party.

Serves: 6

  • 6 hotdogs
  • 1 sheet of puff pastry

Preparation:30min  ›  Cook:10min  ›  Ready in:40min

  1. Microwave or boil the hot dogs to get the cooking process started.
  2. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees C. Grease a baking tray.
  3. Cut the pastry into thin bandages, I found short srrips were easier to work with than long ones.
  4. Cut the warmed hot dog to form arms and legs.
  5. Wrap the hot dog in the puff pastry bandages, place on the prepared baking tray and cook for 10 minutes, or until the pastry has puffed and brown.
