BBQ Bacon Wrapped Prawns and Scallops

    This is a quick and easy BBQ dinner, although the bacon is super tasty it also protects the prawns and scallops from the heat of the BBQ creating a super moist and succulent result.

    Serves: 4 

    • 12 rashers of smoked bacon, halfed
    • dozen prawns
    • dozen scallops
    • 24 skewars
    • 50g butter, melted
    • 2 cloves garlic crushed

    Preparation:15min  ›  Cook:10min  ›  Ready in:25min 

    1. Individually wrap each prawn and scallop with the bacon then thread onto a skewer.
    2. Combine the butter and garlic. Brush over the bacon wrapped prawn and scallop skewers.
    3. Place on a medium heat BBQ then cook, turning regularly and basting with additional garlic butter as required until the prawns and scallops become opaque. Serve immediately.
