put oats, protein powder, cinnamon, craisins and shredded coconut in a large bowl and mix till combined
in a microwavable jug add peanut butter, milk, apple sauce and honey and heat for 30 seconds, take out and mix then heat again for another 30 seconds, take out and mix and let it cool for a few minutes
add the peanut butter mixture to the oats and stir until combined (you may need to add more oats or more liquid) and make sure mixture can stick together but not too sticky
press mixture down evenly in a tray lined with baking paper to desired thickness
melt dark chocolate in the microwave or in a bowl over a saucepan of boiling water on medium heat
pour chocolate over the mixture and place in the fridge for a few hours
cut into squares or rectangles and enjoy!
Tip
please don't use instant oats and I find the best chocolate for this recipe is Whittaker's dark chocolate
