French Romaine Lettuce Salad

    This French romaine lettuce salad recipe is amazingly quick and easy. Love the potato and egg in it which can make it a meal, not just a side.

    Serves: 1 

    • 3 thinly sliced, cold, boiled beef
    • 1 mild onion, thinly sliced into rings
    • 3 tablespoon lemon juice
    • 2 boiled potatoes
    • 1 head romaine lettuce
    • 1 hard boiled egg, quartered
    • 1 tomato, quartered
    • 70g cold cooked French beans
    • vinaigrette, to taste

    Preparation:5min  ›  Cook:20min  ›  Ready in:25min 

    1. Marinate the beef and the onion rings in lemon juice for 10 minutes or longer (in separate bowls).
    2. When ready to serve the salad, arrange the beef on the dish, alternating the slices with the onion rings.
    3. Decorate the dish with the rest of the ingredients. Spoon a little bit of vinaigrette over them.
