when I was growing up, stroganoff was made with nutmeg and goulash was made with paprika. I like my stroganoff made the old fashioned way with nutmeg. totally delish. this sauce is just as good with beef.
in a large fry pan, saute chicken until colour changes.
drain and put aside.
in same fry pan, saute mushrooms and onions until onion is
translucent.
stir in sour cream, nutmeg and crumble in stock cubes.
add chicken and bring to boil, stirring, then reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes or until chicken is cooked through.
