Tuna, Chilli and Lime

    Introducing - the power of chilli and lime. Its amazing what a few simple changes can do to your simple tuna pasta and how good it tastes. Hope you like this one guys, give it a go and let me know! Enjoy!

    Serves: 2 

    • 200g angel hair pasta
    • 1 tin tuna chunks
    • 2 limes (one for juice, one sliced in to circles)
    • 1 large red chilli, de-seeded
    • 2 whole spring onions, diced
    • 1 clove garlic, minced
    • handful chopped fresh parsley
    • extra virgin olive oil
    • salt and pepper, to taste

    1. Place your pasta in some salted water and cook accordingly. This should only take around 3 to 4 minutes. When it's cooked, toss in olive oil to prevent from sticking (just before adding to the pan of garlic, onion etc)
    2. Heat up some oil in a large pan and lightly fry the garlic. Throw in your onion, tuna, chilli and 1 whole lime's juice. Add in your pasta and gently toss to soak up all the flavour.
    3. Add in your parsley, lime wedges, salt and pepper to taste then a light dash of olive oil if it needs it.
