Rich Chocolate Tart with Strawberries

Strawberries and chocolate, what more could you want? This is an easy to make recipe with no baking. A dessert that is totally scrumptious.

Makes: 1 tart
- 205g packet strawberry Oreos
- 70g butter, melted
- 250ml thickened cream
- 250g dark cooking chocolate
- 1 punnet strawberries, sliced
- whipped cream
- extra strawberries, to decorate

- Line the bottom of a 24 cm spring-form tin with baking paper.
- In a processor, blitz the Oreos. Add the butter and pulse until combined. Press into bottom of tin then refrigerate.
- In a heatproof bowl over a saucepan of boiling water, melt the chocolate and cream together. Stir until smooth.
- Place the bowl in refrigerator and cool until thick and almost set.
- Spoon the chocolate mixture into biscuit base and level the top. Refrigerate until completely set.
When ready to serve, cover the top of the chocolate with the strawberries. Push in lightly.- Decorate with whipped cream and extra strawberries. Serve straight away.
