    Makes: 16 Santas

    • 350g fresh strawberries
    • 235ml whipping cream
    • 1 tablespoon icing sugar
    • 1 tablespoon chocolate sprinkles

    Preparation:20min  ›  Ready in:20min

    1. Slice the flat end of each strawberry so they can stand up on a plate. Slice the tip off each strawberry to make the 'hat'; set aside.
    2. Whip cream and icing sugar in a glass or metal bowl until soft peaks form. Lift your whisk straight up, the whipped cream will form soft mounds.
    3. Spoon a large dollop of whipped cream on top of strawberry base for the 'face' and 'beard'. Set the 'hat' atop the 'face'. Add a dot of whipped cream, using a toothpick, on top of the 'hat' for the 'pom-pom' and 2 dots on the strawberry base for 'buttons'. Place 2 sprinkles on the 'face' for 'eyes'.

I made marscapone whipped cream instead of just regular whipped cream, and used mini konpeito (Japanese sugar candy) for the eyes.  -  23 Nov 2015  (Review from Allrecipes USA and Canada)

I ended up adding red sprinkles for the mouth/nose as well. kids gobbled them up in no time :-)  -  02 Dec 2013  (Review from Allrecipes USA and Canada)

Loved it simple enough not to Sweet partially healthy. The only thing that I changed were the sprinkles for the eyes. I used candy balls and put them on with tweezers something else would probably be a better choice a little easier and quicker. Maybe the little balls of candy that look like silver?  -  13 Dec 2018  (Review from Allrecipes USA and Canada)
